An independent designer and educator with a broad array of collaborators in the sectors of architecture, culture, non-profits, museums and academia. Passionate about form, typography, storytelling and broad ideas. Vasun has collaborated with a range of studios such as Office of Paul Sahre, MoMA Design Studio, Ralph Appelbaum Associates in New York City, and more recently with Commonwealth Projects and Imprint Projects in Los Angeles.
Vasun received her MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2016 and her AAS from Parsons, The New School for Design. Her typographic work has been exhibited at the Beijing Design Festival and various platforms such as It’s Nice That, Ficciones Typografika and Women of Graphic Design. She has been a visiting critic at Parsons The New School for Design, Lawrence Technological University and Santa Monica College. She is currently teaching typography and graphic design studio courses at Otis College of Art & Design and Santa Monica College.
